Built in 1922 with the designs of Shopbell & Co., this structure was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. Today it houses the Johnson County Museum of History.

Franklin is a charming community located just south of Indianapolis in Johnson County. Though Greenwood is the largest town in Johnson County, Franklin is the county seat.

Built in 1878 with the designs of Midwestern architect John C. Cochrane, the old Lake County Courthouse has been converted into a mall in the center square of Crown Point. It is similar to Cochrane's courthouse in Saline County, Missouri.

In 1909 and 1928 additions were made to it on the north and south sides. In 1973 the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.

This Italianate block on Main Cross Street dates to the 1890s. It contributes to the Edinburgh Commercial Historic District, which was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Edinburgh, Indiana is a small town located between Franklin and Columbus in southeastern Johnson County to the northeast Camp Atterbury Military Reservation.

Dating to the early 20th century, this criminal courthouse is considered a contributing property to the Crown Point Courthouse Square Historic District, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Located in northwestern Indiana at the edge of the Chicago Metropolitan Area, Crown Point is the seat of Lake County.
