This structure, typical of Ohio's fantastic courthouses, was erected in 1886-88 by contractor Rudolph Ehrhart with the designs of the architectural firm of E. O. Fallis and Company.

It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.

This Richardsonian Romanesque courthouse was erected in 1894-96. It was designed by Yost & Packard, and built by T. B. Townsend. Whyte & Priest sculpted the stone faces and gargoyles. The impressive edifice was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, along with the nearby 1901 county jail.

Located to the south of Toledo in northwestern Ohio, Bowling Green is a charming little college town that serves as the seat of Wood County. It is home to Bowling Green State University.

The high-rise structure adjoins the old 1974 Franklin County Courthouse, and is a part of the county office buildings complex at Mound and South High streets.

Located near the center of the state, Columbus serves as Ohio's state capital. It is also home to the state's largest university, the Ohio State University, and is a center for higher education and technology. Columbus is the largest city in the Buckeye State, and the second largest city in the Midwest.
