This structure was originally built in 1987, using the designs of Jacobs Arch., Inc. It was remodeled in 2009, using the designs of Pieper O'Brien Herr Architecture.

Erected in 1926, this stately Neoclassical structure was designed by architect J.J. Baldwin. It was expanded to the north and south in 1965, and in 1980 was placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
In 2010 a newer courthouse was built two blocks to the south on Main Street. As a result this structure now houses the Liberty County Sheriff's Department and various county government offices.
Hinesville, Georgia is located to the southwest of Savannah, just south of Fort Stewart.

Originally built in 1903-04, this Richardsonian Romanesque structure was designed by celebrated architect Frank P. Milburn. Its upper stories were damaged by a fire in 1958 that left the structure with a flat roofline (without its clock tower) until a full restoration and refurbishing eventually took place in 1989.
Like most of Georgia's historic courthouses, the Wilkes County Courthouse was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It also contributes to two historic districts, the Washington Commercial Historic District (listed in 1986) and the Washington Historic District (listed in 2004).
