I'm still indulging in my apple obsession. These beauties are at the Saturday Santa Monica Farmers Market. The heirloom varieties have such wonderful colors, and tasty too.

Apples are so good this year. I eat one in the car on the way to work (oh keep your hair on, I eat it at the stop light, not on the freeway at 60 mph!) and one in the afternoon, sliced, with peanut butter.

And sometimes, in the evening, I slice them up and bake them with pumpkin pie spice sprinkled on top! Smells heavenly and tastes sinful!

Sweet bell peppers are so good this time of year...chopped up raw for a colorful salad, sauteed with onions and sausage and tossed with pasta...and so pretty too :)
