De Brandweerbrug, brugnummer 79, is een vaste brug in Amsterdam en ligt op de grens van de wijken De Pijp en het Museumkwartier in Amsterdam-Zuid.
De brug verbindt sinds 1879 de beide oevers, Hobbema- en Ruysdaelkade, van de Boerenwetering met elkaar. Ze is genoemd naar de brandweerkazerne (Kazerne Dirk) die hier sinds 1897 aan de Hobbemakade ligt.
The Brandweerbrug, bridge number 79, is a permanent bridge in Amsterdam and is located on the border of the De Pijp and Museum Quarter districts in Amsterdam South.
Since 1879, the bridge has connected the two banks, Hobbemakade and Ruysdaelkade, of the Boerenwetering. It is named after the fire station (Barracks Dirk) that has been located here since 1897 on the Hobbemakade. (Bron Wikipedia)
