While on a sunrise photo shoot I noticed this fellow shooting some pebbles he had arranged on a boulder catching the light falling on them ....the moment just right for me to capture him with the glorious light surrounding him with the light catching the lifting fog behind him

Lake Alexandrina is a spectacular example of a South Island high country lake, and is a hidden gem to many in the Mackenzie Region. The lake is spring-fed, surrounded by tawny-coloured dry tussocks of the region and ringed by tall mountain peaks.

This guy was just at the right spot on the crest of a small rise with legs just in the right position as though he was directed for the pose. I also love that he has a full tail.
