The deteriorating condition of this old dairy barn which I photographed the Spring morning of May 18th, 2014 near Amy Bell Lake in southeast Wisconsin is starting to reveal some interesting treasures (at least to an old car and truck enthusiast like me) - And these gems had probably been hidden away inside this barn for many, many years. ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©

I have always loved this old barn tucked into the hillside just off of Dodge County highway MM near Lebanon, and I have passed this way hundreds of times over the years while seeking out trains first on the C&NW and then UP Wisconsin Adams line.

On May 28th, 2014 during a relaxing drive following the line back towards home, this pure country scene couldn’t have looked finer in this fabulous soft light that can be found during the last hour before Sunset. ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©

“1914” shows on the side of this magnificent old barn out on Rockvale Road near Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. - Just out of sight over the tall weeds beyond is the ex-Milwaukee Road (now Canadian Pacific) main line.
