On an overcast November 30th, 1991 two aging EMDs are in the Chicago & North Western’s freight yard at Butler, Wisconsin – Fox River Valley Railroad SD35 #2500 was the lead unit on FRVR train PRGBA which was making a pickup while Missabe SD9 #152 was parked and idling on an adjacent track – That DM&IR unit seemed to hang around Butler the end of 1991 and into early 1992, not sure if it was for horsepower payback or some kind of a lease arrangement. ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©
