First light at Rock – Shortly after Sunrise on January 9th, 2015 eastbound Union Pacific train SSPRX is stopped and holding the main at Rock siding near Ashippun, Wisconsin while waiting to meet a westbound train that is already out of Butler – This SSPRX was powered by a pair of Canadian National units (CN #5562 & CN 5682) and this short train was comprised of mostly sulfur loads. ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©

In what could easily pass for a cold January Sunrise somewhere up in Canada is actually a Mid-April scene from southeastern Wisconsin.
