Just east of Lebanon, Wisconsin is the UP 8759 Twin Cities RoadRailer train Z-EMCH which is third in a cluster of four eastbound trains trying to make some progress down the Union Pacific’s Adams line the morning of February 26th, 2014.

Ahead was a loaded sand train which had just departed Rock siding with a new crew. – Then an eastbound manifest train which is pulling into Rock ahead of the Z-Train to hold the main and wait for their relief crew. – And behind the Z-Train was another manifest which would have to hold back at Lebanon and wait for an open track down at Butler.

Z-EMCH was eventually able to run through the siding at Rock around the first eastbound manifest and continue on its way. ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©

Here is another shot of the eastbound Z-Train. – Because they had been running at restricted speed on red signals out of Rock, I was easily able to capture this train at five different locations as it proceeded towards Butler. - And in keeping with the farming theme that I had composed into the previous shot, this photo is the BNSF 7322 east (now back up to full track speed) as it passes some heavy-duty farm equipment ready to start working some acreage not far from North Lake, Wisconsin. -- April 19th, 2014 ~~ A Jeff Hampton Photograph ©
