The Siberian tiger, this majestic, brownish yellow to russet creature with dark stripes on its trunk, legs, and tail, is the largest of all the big cats. The red tints of the fur are more intense in summer, and its yellow winter fur even more impressive. The white of the belly shines so beautifully and reaches high up the flanks.
Seen today in Hannover Zoo...
Er ist die größte lebende Katze: Der Sibirische Tiger, diese majestätische, braungelbe bis rostbraune Großkatze mit den dunklen Streifen an Rumpf, Beinen und Schwanz. Die Rottöne des Felles sind im Sommer kräftiger. Besonders eindrucksvoll ist das eher gelbliche Winterfell. Und das Weiß des Bauches leuchtet so schön und reicht weit an den Flanken herauf.
Diesen schönen Tiger habe ich heute im Erlebniszoo Hannover kennengelernt...

Addax oder Mendesantilopen leben in der Sahara und angrenzenden Gebieten. Sie tragen lange, gewundene Hörner. Im Erlebnis-Zoo Hannover werden die seltenen Antilopen gezüchtet und in Nordafrika wieder ausgewildert.
