At least that is what the mug says :-) Actually, he's perfect to me. The "theme" as it were for the 365 this week in "introductions" so I figured I would introduce you to my hubby or as my grandkids call him GP (short for grand pa). Our kids just call him Dad.
He was out on the deck as I was walking back home from getting some shots of the creek when I told him I was going to take his picture and he could not make a face or give me the usual flip the bird gesture. Rather, he pulled the coffee cup up and let me grab the shot.
I figured I would start my 365 project and the 100x project where I am going to shoot 100 x with my first DSLR and a vintage lens on a lens adapter here with a photo of my sweetie on New Years Day. The 365 will be with whatever camera I choose to capture the day with but the 100x is going to be my XTi with a vintage lens (I have several of them so I will put the lens in the tags and in the description here).
It is not a super great photo because of course it is taken with 10.1 megapixel camera - my original DSLR a Canon XTi with a Canon FD 135mm lens on a lens adapter. Edited in ON1 Photo Raw 2022.

I had this little tree at work and when I retired in March of 2021 I brought it home to use as a table top decoration. The minion hanging on it was a gift from my supervisor with another that is also hanging on my little tree that I would put out every year at Christmas.
As it is too cold to head out with my XTi (I was out earlier with my full frame and a vintage lens for my 365 project) I figured I would just take a shot indoors. I don't like the cold LOL.
Canon XTi 10mp camera with a Canon FD 1.8 50mm lens on an adapter. Resized only for the web in ON1 Photo Raw 2022 as I have a love hate relationship with Lightroom.

Theme Introductions. Welcome to Myers Cave in North Frontenac Township Ontario. Seen here is Marble Lake that flows under the road and becomes Georgia Lake on the south side of Road 506.
As the story goes it was named after Meyers, a merchant from Belleville, who established an outpost on Still House Road. It was said he became friendly with aboriginals who traded with silver. One day he gave several of them some liquor and talked them into showing where they got the silver. They took him up the Skoot River to a cave, and when they sobered up they dumped Meyers in the lake. The merchant swam to shore and survived, but died of pneumonia later.

I had to go into Northbrook this morning so I took my Canon XTi with a Canon FD 28mm 3.5 SC lens on an adapter for my 100x project for the 2022 year with me knowing I wanted to stop not only at the beach on Marble Lake to take a couple of shots but also at Myers Cave as it is such a pretty little spot.
The day started out cloudy and I happened to look up at the sky and thought this would make a lovely shot of the tree tops.

Backyard bird feeders taken with the Canon XTi and a vintage Diana Lens for my 100x project for 2022. This lens only has a dial on it for different distances from a subject - no manual focus on this one at all. It's just like the little Diana Film cameras - basically dial in the distance from the subject and shoot.
The diana film camera's back in the 60's (I had one when I was about 8 or 9 and I have a Diana Mini film camera today) sported a crude lens that produces an image circle which only marginally covers the diagonal of a film frame. This marginal coverage field produces images with often pronounced vignetting. The poor quality of the plastic meniscus lens results in generally low contrast and resolution, odd color rendition, chromatic aberration, and blurred images.
As I am doing the 100x with a DSLR and vintage lenses I figured I would take it out for a whirl for my Image #5 of 100.
I want to thank each and everyone for your comments and visits to my little space here on Flickr. Although I may not get to respond to all the comments, rest assured, I appreciate them all more than you know however, awards and invites aren't necessary. Stay healthy and safe!
