As soon as I arrived on the scene at this waterfall in Kanchanaburi, Thailand I met three monks who were kind enough to let me take their pictures.

If you're planning on visiting Erawan Falls, be sure to take along a massive supply of patience and tolerance.

This place gets overrun by busloads of surly Russians from about 10am onwards.

The smart visitor arrives just before the 8am opening time, gets their shots and leaves before the chain smokers arrive en masse.

It's a truly stunning set of 7 tiers of waterfalls. Amazing shots are guaranteed if you know how to clone out the lobsters.
