Sometimes it's fun to just randomly sift through images from a couple of years ago to see what you might have missed.
I found this little gem from White River falls last October on our way to Utah via The Dalles in Oregon.

I've always wanted a 'green' shot of that tree. I've visited in Autumn and the tree has been gloriously red.
I've visited in spring and the tree has been gloriously yellow.
On my recent early October visit I finally captured the tree in glorious green regalia.
Even in winter, denuded of leaves, this is a living work of art.
It may well be the most overly rinsed scene on the planet but for good reason.
Thanks to the staff at Portland Japanese Garden for keeping this ever changing scene beautiful.

This is a 30 shot pano of some tree in some garden you might have heard of.
I tried stitching these 30 shots together in Photoshop but it could not handle it.
In the end I had to enlist the help of Autopano by Kolor which handled it no problem.
I could probably print this at 16 feet and still have super sharp resolution. If I could open the file that is ;)

The fall colours at Silver Falls State Park were stunning last week.
This was one of those times where the 14mm Samyang Prime came up trumps.
It's not a lens for all occasions but when needed it delivers the goods.
