The spray from this May trip to the Gorge was insane. I had about half a second between filters swipes to grab a shot.

Out of a about a dozen attempts this was the only one that was remotely clear.

While scouting in the Columbia River Gorge in spring I chanced upon this lesser known waterfall and braved the spray and rain to capture this fleeting moment of light spilling into the narrow canyon.

Sometimes that mid day light really is the best kind of light.

We'd been shooting in the gorge all morning and got some lovely shots, but just as we were packing up the sun burst into the canyon to provide super contrast and intense colour saturation.

We stuck around to capture those golden moments. Here's just one.
