This is Peel Harbour on the Isle of Man.
It is a scan of an early Kodachrome Transparency and although we know it is number 26 on the film it has no date, Peter took some I.O.M pictures in June 1956 including a visit to Peel, could it be that old? none of the fishing boats have any radar equipment.

Peter took this picture of a most unusual propeller powered boat, most power boats have a propeller but it is usually under water not as here, aircraft style.
I have no idea where or when Peter took it. The scene is at Stourport-on-Severn, I think the car is a Hillman Husky
The slide mount is in the style used by Kodak in the 1960's

The Doreen B was built in 1956 as the "*Forel". She was a general cargo vessel of 334 tons and the site I used lists her as "dead"
Peter took this picture of the ship after using it as a close-up of the lorry (separate picture) which is on the right. A couple of pictures exist of the Doreen B both around the Flixborough area, the lorry is owned by Eastern Roadways. Peter was in Norwich.
*Forel is a type of trout according to Wikipedia, I have never heard of it...Might come up in a pub quiz though.
