Four rebuilt AC44CWM's in fresh paint have recently been released from GE in Ft Worth, TX, and they are currently being interchanged from BNSF back to CP. They are the only power for CP train B92, or "Run 20", today, which is bringing a transfer from BNSF's Argentine Yard to Knoche Yard, the KCS-CP Joint Agency Facility.
They're creeping up Track 79 of the KCT North-South Corridor at Old Union Depot Interlocking as they approach The Incline. From there, they'll hop onto the UP KC Metro Sub at Broadway and continue east to Lydia Ave. 4/3/21.

A pair of Ex-Santa Fe SD75Ms, now owned by Progress Rail, lead KCS train Y-KC136-01, better known as "Run 36", on Main Track 2 of the UP KC Metro Sub through Broadway with a transfer from KCS's Knoche Yard to UP's Neff Yard. In order to make this move, they'll need to make a loop around the West Bottoms via the UP KC Metro Sub, The Elevator Lead, and the KCT North-South Corridor. In a short while, they'll pass through this same location on The Incline, except they'll be facing the other direction.
Creeping on Track 81 of the KCT North-South Corridor as it heads up the Hannibal Bridge and into BNSF's Murray Yard is an empty Scherer coal train with a pair of SD70MACs in BN's Executive paint scheme. 7/1/18.

A BC Rail C40-8M is the lead unit on BNSF train H-BRCKCK1-14A tied down on Main Track 1 of the NS Kansas City District-BNSF Brookfield Sub at Block 224 by 10th St. while NS train D70 with an Ex-BN SD60M on the point holds on Main Track 2 while waiting to be called down to the signal by the BNSF Ustick Disptatcher.
The H-BRCKCK1-14A arrived here at Block 224 not too long after 0600 after making an overnight run across the BNSF Brookfield Sub. The crew died here at 1230, and the train was never given a new crew until around midnight.
NS train D70 got here around 1400, and it wasn't around 1700 that the BNSF Ustick Dispatcher gave them permission to come down to the signal and head across the Hannibal Bridge. D70 is bringing autoracks across town from NS's Voltz Yard near Birmingham, MO to BNSF's Argentine Yard in Kansas City, KS, and it's using power off the BNSF transfer to NS's Avondale Yard from the previous night. 9/15/17.

A duo of former ATSF SD40-2s lead eight NS units on a transfer from BNSF's Argentine Yard to NS's Avondale Yard on Track 81 of the KCT North-South Corridor in between 12th St. and 23rd St. The NS locomotives in the consist include a C40-9, an ACe, an SD75M, a high-hood GP38-2, and four C40-9Ws. 5/6/17.

An interesting group of locomotives hang out near UP's 18th St./Armourdale Yards near Kansas City, KS. Here we have an SD60M and a GP39-2 from BNSF, which will later take a transfer from 18th St. Yard to Argentine Yard, an MNA GP40, a KCS SD70MAC, and some usual yard power from UP. 2/13/15.
