KCS FP9A No. 34 basks in the afternoon sun on Track 28 outside of Kansas City's Union Station. This F unit was originally built for the Canadian National Railway, and then later on it became a part of VIA's roster. Kansas City Southern later acquired it and it became KCS No. 4 to be used along with the other FP9s on their business train. Eventually it was retired, renumbered to 34, repainted into the classic Southern Belle paint scheme, and then donated to the Kansas City Union Station Rail Experience. 9/10/17.
