Kase 6 stop nd filter to achieve this image and long enough to loose people and smooth out the scene, and enjoying the light given off by the surrounding buildings adding atmospheric.

Boscombe Pier captured during the relatively short Blue hour period.

Not needing any filters during this time as 20 Second exposure was dark enough not to need them.

No chance of a sunrise but captured some interesting images beforehand and the blues sums up January...

Storm at Newhaven captured a few weeks back capturing the wave at it's peak.

Conversion to monochrome suited the image, handheld as the wind was Ferocious to use a tripod and the image captured on the beach full force of the wind.

Last weekends Storm Darragh and a must visit to Newhaven to see what I could capture.

The first challenge was opening the car door, the wind was so strong.

Managing to capture a few images and not without the wind trying to snatch the camera away from me. Images were captured at high ISO and shutter speed.

No filters used just stamina and persistence to stand up to the wind.

Prefering the conversion to monochrome...
