Pulpit Rock is a coastal feature at the southern tip of the Isle of Portland, Dorset, England. The artificial stack of rock was left in the 1870s after a natural arch was cut away by quarrymen at the Bill Quarry on the famous headland, Wikipedia.

Usually a place where most would use Long Exposure, so thought I would try a normal exposure and catch a wave!!!

Portland in Dorset - Driving down hoping for a sunrise, unfortunately, the sunrise didn’t happen, too many clouds. Rather than a wasted morning I still took images in the hope the sun would pull through, this never happened, individually I ended up with images that were not very exciting.
I decided to try something I have always wanted to do and that was to get a set of images and blend them together, here I blended 54 images utilising one of the blending modes in Photoshop CC to bring out the light and clouds from all 54 images into one.
