Macro Mondays theme: Handle with Care.

Here we have a very small snail on a lavender plant, taken using my 30mm Sony f2.8 macro lens.

The size of the snail is a about the size of an average adult small fingernail as can be seen here against the fur of the lavender plant.

Taken at Mayfield lavender nursery, this is such a great place to visit albeit for me a 2 hour drive, you do need to get here early as it gets extremely busy.

A family run Lavender farm in the Cotswolds at Snowshill.
Got here a little late in the day, lots of tourists with the same idea of taking pictures. On the way getting distracted having a few stops capturing some fascinating and beautiful Cotswold countryside, the moral here is if you are going somewhere drive straight their.
Here I got down low to hide as many tourist as possible and using f stop and zoom technique to keep most of the lavender in focus while defocusing the background almost giving it a 3D look, you can still see one of the tourist a little blurred out near the farmers cottage.
On the plus side on this rare occasion of english summer the sun was out.
