An unidentified Avanti 390 passes Camden Junction on 23rd September 2024 with an ECS from Euston to Willesden.

The line is one that crosses from the low platform numbers at Euston to the Down, allowing a train to cross underneath the main lines without causing delay.

66617 "Poppy" passes the LMS 1953 built Willesden Carriage Shed North signal box on 23rd September 2024.
Probably an apt image for today.

Still in its Eurovision vinyls LNW's 350104 passes Willesden Yard on 23rd September 2024 with 1Y34 1106 Birmingham New Street to Euston.

I've always seen the huge footbridge that spans the WCML north of Willesden as I've passed on trains over the years and thought it would be worth a visit to at least try and get a shot of the manual signal box in the background.

The 1953 LNW box stills controls entrance to and from the yard at the north end, one of few manual boxes seen from the West Coast Main Line. Its also very difficult to get a clear shot of without OLE and signal clutter in the way!
