The moment when one of the New Year's rockets exploded into the crowd. Luckily, nothing serious happened and I had my camera on series mode catching the explosion like an unplanned light painting.

When I watched Youtube to get some clues on fireworks photography, it was mentioned to not bother with New Year's fireworks and focus on officially planned and coordinated fireworks. Boy was that tip wrong. These were the last seconds of 2024.

The first time in a long time I went to the river Main to see the fireworks. Last time I was there, a car went up in flames on one of the bridges. This time, the worst was one rocket exploding in the crowd around me. At least, it provided for an interesting effect you'll see in a couple of days.
