The light wasn't good which can be expected around noon. But that's the challenge of travelling with a group as a photographer. You have to go with the flow and make the best out of it. If I had travelled on my own, this would have been a perfect spot to return for blue hour.

At least, the panorama worked out fine and serves as an introduction to Georgia for those interested in my travelogue.

Last photo from Chefchaouen. The city of Chefchaouen seen from the Spanish Mosque. The famous part is the one to the right with the many small alleyways, stairs and houses painted blue. This panorama is stitched from four images.

I will take a break from posting Morocco photos for a while. Tanger and Marrakech are still outstanding. Starting tomorrow, I will post photos I've taken in Frankfurt as an intermezzo.

Most tourists probably come here for the Roman ruins of Volubilis nearby. But Moulay Idriss is worth visiting on its own and for muslims it has importance as a pilgrimage site due to the mausoleum of Moulay Idriss. It is said by Moroccans that coming to Moulay Idriss seven times equals visiting Mecca once.
