August 12, 1994. We'd originally planned to spend the evening at Mile High Stadium, but the 1994 baseball strike started the day before. For the Braves and Rockies that occurred when Greg Maddux got Dante Bichette to ground out to third base, ending that day's contest. At least we saw that game.
So we headed north out of Denver and wandered around in the Rockies a day earlier than we'd initially planned. And we continued to explore Colorado for a couple more days.
It was a good vacation, even without the second ballgame.

Photo taken with my Minolta point and shoot using Kodak Gold 800 film. Yeah, the grain shows, and the "denoising" is just weird. And there's an annoying scratch on the negative.
