Sharp pocket computers, PC1350 and PC1360. These were the only two PC13XX models released by Sharp in 1984 and 1987. Both had 4 lines of 24 characters and were very capable in their day for BASIC programming, graphing, etc.
The key differences between the two were increased memory, an additional RAM port, as well as improved BASIC and faster CPU in the PC1360.

A vintage Sharp PC-1210 pocket computer on my desk. This is claimed to be the first pocket computers ever developed. Made in 1980 it caused quite a stir as a computer that could fit in your pocket. I of course wanted one when it was released, but being a child it was only a distant dream back then.
I have a collection of these fabulous machines now and this was the most recent one I added. I took this photo sometime early last year using a camera that was older than the device, with a film that expired in 2005. It then took me more than a year to finish and process the film. How's that for a time twisting plot?

The world's first pocket computer ever made - the Sharp PC1210, with only 896 bytes of RAM (less than 1kb!), produced in 1980. It was quickly replaced by the PC-1211, which had more memory. It was programmable in Basic.
These are quite hard to find these days - this one, which is in my collection, is in mint condition.

The Hewlett Packard 71B was a powerful pocket computer that was made between 1984 to 1989. It was programmable in BASIC and was expandable with various modules available.
This is a late prototype version with a 1AAAA ROM made just before the first real production version (1BBBB, later followed by 2CCCC and finally the 2CDCC). It does not even have the characteristic serial number on the back of the case.
This was sent to me by Johnny Bjoern Rasmussen from Denmark. I have a virtual museum of HP's and other pocket computers and I had all other known versions of the 71B except for a 1AAAA (including the early prototype version: 0AAAA). The 1AAAA version eluded me for about a decade of searching and Johnny sent me this one long after i'd given up and officially 'stopped' collecting. So this is an important piece of my museum. Thanks Johhny!
