Fleet No: "704". 'Fishing Boat' tail livery.

This aircraft was delivered to BMA British Midland Airways as G-BMAJ in May-83. It was leased to Manx Airlines (a BMA subsidiary) as G-WACK in Apr-86 and returned to British Midland in Apr-87. It was leased to Manx Airlines again in Jul-87 and returned to British Midland in Jul-88. It was immediately leased to Loganair (Scotland, UK). The aircraft was transferred to British Regional Airlines in Jan-97 and returned to Loganair in Jan-98. It was withdrawn from service and stored at Exeter, UK in Jan-99. The aircraft was sold to Pacific Coastal Airlines as C-GPCE in Mar-99. It was sold to Air Now (USA) as N.6.4.2.A.N in Nov-05 and registered to Air Cargo Carriers in Dec-07. The aircraft is now 38 years old and continues in service, still in basic Pacific Coastal livery. Current, updated Mar-21.

Note: The registration C-GPCE has been used four times by Pacific Coastal... First on a Beech 99 between May-94/Aug-97, then on the Shorts SD.360 between Mar-99/Nov-05, then on a Saab SF.340A between Apr-06/Nov-16 and currently on a Beech 1900D since Oct-19.

Operating a 'just-in-time' cargo charter carrying car parts from Cologne, Germany.

Named: "Patricia".

First flown as G-OLBA in early Mar-88, this aircraft was re-registered with Short Brothers as G-BOFG for some test flights before being leased to Capital Airlines as G-OLBA in mid Mar-88.

It was repossessed by Shorts Aircraft Financing Ltd in Oct-90 and stored at Belfast Harbour Airport. It was sold to AL Aviation Leasing GmbH in Jan-93 as D-CCAS and leased to Rhineland Air Service. Rhineland Air Service was renamed RAS Fluggesellschaft in Mar-96.

In Dec-96 AL Aviation Leasing sold the aircraft to Nightexpress GmbH while the lease to RAS continued. It was returned to Nightexpress GmbH in 2002. Nightexpress was bought by BDA Bespoke Distribution Aviation in Mar-16.

In Jul-17 the aircraft was sold to Alliance Air Charter (USA) as N970AA. It was sold to Air Cargo Carriers (USA) in Mar-21. Now 34 years old the aircraft continues in service. Updated 31-Mar-22.

Replacing an earlier scanned 6"x4" print with a better version 01-Oct-21 (DeNoise AI).

Fleet No: "701".

First flown with the Short Brothers test registration G-14-3619, this aircraft was leased to Simmons Airlines (USA) as N364MQ in Aug-83 and operated on behalf of American Eagle.

Shorts sold it to a lessor in Aug-87, it was leased back to Shorts Air Lease Inc and sub-leased to Simmons Airlines. It was transferred to Flagship Airlines in Dec-91, operations for American Eagle continued.

It was returned to Simmons Airlines in Sep-92 and the transferred back to Flagship Airlines in Jan-94, still operating for American Eagle. The aircraft was returned to Shorts Air Lease in Oct-94 and stored at Clarksburg, WV, USA.

In May-95 it was sub-leased to Pacific Coastal Airlines as C-GPCG. The aircraft was in service with Pacific Coastal for 11 years before being sold to Tiara Air (Aruba) as P4-TIA at the end of Jan-06. The aircraft was withdrawn from service and stored at Oranjestad, Aruba in Aug-16. Air Tiara ceased operations in Nov-16.

The aircraft was permanently retired and gradually broken up at Oranjestad between Nov-16/Jan-18.

Note: On 15-Dec-11 the aircraft struck a donkey on take-off from Las Piedras, Venezuela. The right main undercarriage was badly damaged. It continued to Aruba and landed successfully without any injuries (the donkey wasn't so lucky!). The aircraft was repaired and returned to service.

The registration C-GPCG was later used by Pacific Coastal on a Saab SF.340A.

It was leased to Air Ecosse the same day in a special 'Royal Mail Special Services' livery. It was sub-leased back to Short Brothers for 3 weeks in Apr/May-85 and sub-leased to Loganair between Aug/Nov-86.

It was also sub-leased to Manx Airlines in Feb-87 and Guernsey Airlines in May-87. Guernsey Airlines was renamed Aurigny Air Services. It was sold to Connectair as G-BPCO in Feb-88 and Connectair was renamed Air Europe Express in Feb-89.

The aircraft was repossessed by Fairflight Charters in Mar-91 when the Air Europe Group ceased trading. In Apr-91 the aircraft was leased to Gill Air and it was re-registered G-OLAH in Aug-91.

It was sub-leased to Air UK between Mar/Aug-95. It was retired and stored at Exeter, UK, in Dec-00. In June-01 it was sold to Aer Arran Express as EI-CWG. It was sold to Emerald Airways in Nov-01 becoming G-ROND.
