Replacing an earlier scanned 6"x4" print with a better version 29-Sep-21 (DeNoise AI).

Those PT6A turboprop engines look really tiny with the cowlings off!

First flown with the Short Brothers test registration G-BHYM, this aircraft was delivered to Crown Airways (USA) as N141CN in Aug-80. It was sold to a lessor in Sep-85 and leased back to Crown Airways.

The aircraft was returned to the lessor in Apr-89. It was stored until it was sold to Labrador Airways as C-FLAC in Mar-91. It was leased to CanAir Cargo in Feb-94. It was returned to Labrador Airways in Jan-98 and was sold to Skyway Enterprises Inc as N805SW in Sep-98.

The aircraft was damaged beyond repair when it undershot the runway by about 400 yards on landing at Du Bois, PA, USA after a cargo flight from Pittsburgh, PA. The nosewheel and left main landing gear separated and the underside of the fuselage was badly damaged. According to the crew, the No:1 engine torque surged during final approach which pulled the aircraft to the left.

Note: This registration has been re-used on a float equipped Cessna 208 of Seair based in BC, Canada

Replacing an earlier scanned slide with a better version 24-Feb-16.

Delivered to Loganair as G-BGNA in Jun-79, the aircraft was leased to Manx Airlines in Apr-83. It was sold to Air Ecosse in Nov-83 and sold back to Short Brothers in Mar-84 and immediately leased to Metropolitan Airways. The aircraft was returned to Shorts in Sep-85 and after a period in storage it was re-registered G-BTJR in Nov-85 and remained stored until it was leased to Syd-Aero (Greece) in Sep-86 as SX-IVX. Syd-Aero were renamed Avia in Jan-88. It returned to Shorts as G-BTJR in Sep-89. In Dec-89 it was sold in Australia, to Queensland Pacific Airlines as VH-LSI. Sunstate Airlines bought it in Oct-90 and Chartair bought it in Feb-96. It was sold to Corporate Air (USA) as N334AC in Apr-98 and stored at Milwaukee, WI, USA. It was sold to Air Cargo Carriers in Nov-98. It was noted in service in South Florida in Dec-13 and as far as I can tell, it's still operational (as of Feb-16).

Ex Teuto Air Germany. Streamline Aviation never wasted money on paint, they just left their aircraft in the basic c/scheme of the previous operator.

Replacing an earlier scanned slide with a better version 31-Jan-16.

First flown in Mar-81 with the British temporary registration G-14-3067, it was re-registered G-BIRN a week later and delivered to Loganair in Apr-81. The aircraft was sold back to Short Brothers in Mar-84 and stored until it was leased to AirUK in Aug-84. It returned to Short Brothers in Feb-86 and was leased to Tal-Air in May-86 and returned to Short's in Dec-88. Immediately leased to Gill Air and re-registered G-BPMA in Jan-89, it was damaged beyond repair by gale force winds during a storm at Glasgow, Scotland, UK on 23-Feb-89.

Note: During a storm at Glasgow, Scotland the aircraft was first blown into a pole by the gale force winds and then blown upside down. It was damaged beyond repair. There were no passengers or crew on board at the time.
