Once in a blue moon I find the energy to post something. Here's a recent film shot from downtown Reykjavík, Iceland. Shot on Mamiya 7 II with the 65/4 lens, on Kodak Portra 400 film scanned with Epson V850. I home-developed and scanned 8 rolls of medium format film the other night... err, I mean nights, plural. My respect for professional photographers from the film era has grown immensely, the work they had to put in, just wow.

I've been collecting film cameras for about 15 years, but it's only roughly 6 weeks since I started shooting and developing myself and I'm utterly enjoying every minute of it. I'm guessing this photo tells how modern film geeks think about their films, like they're bits of candy with different flavours.
Cameras featured are Contax RTS w/Zeiss Planar 50/1.4, Rolleiflex w/Zeiss Tessar 75/3.5, Mamiya 7 II w/65mm f/4 and the original Pentax 6x7 w/105mm f/2.4.

Film bug finally got to me late last november. Thankfully I've been collecting film cameras for 15 years so I had plenty of gear lying around to test. In the past 6 weeks, I've developed over 20 rolls of film at home, mostly 120 film, some 35mm rolls, both b&w and color. This frame was shot with my original Pentax 6x7 with the legendary 105/2.4 lens. Kodak Portra 400, developed using Cinestill Cs41 2-bath kit, scanned with Epson V850.
