So, I love three things so much: music, photography, and zombies. For the past month, I have been having reoccurring dreams that I have flown to London and there are all these zombies. I get so excited...I can see them all crowding me around the plane window. But then, my camera won't work. It won't even turn on. My battery is dead and my charger won't fit any of the British outlets because it's an American one and I don't have a plug converter so I get really upset and sad. So many good photographs of zombies in my dreams.
I didn't know exactly what I would do on Halloween for so long but when I found out two really great British bands, Sky Larkin and Peggy Sue were coming, I was really excited. I spent my day bicycling and going to Halloween parades but I made sure to get the The Whistler early so I could see both bands play.
As I was getting settled with my drink, I saw Katie Harkin and started talking to her. We started talking about Halloween because there were so many at the place in costume (myself included). She mentioned that they were going to be hospital ER zombies on stage. I was so happy. It was like a dream come true...like the best day of my life. The stars were aligning themselves. The lows may be lows but the highs of being a concert photographer..well, few things can top this one.
I love you England. I love you Sky Larkin. I love you Peggy Sue. I love you Halloween.
