These are two of my favorite people and musicians in the world. They are both so fantastically talented and have such amazing voices. Sharon's voice is completely disarming in its honesty. I've seen her live several times now and I'm always impressed. Marie Claire, a Chicago native, has a very different kind of voice but one that reminds me quite a bit of Mazzy Star/Hope Sandoval. Speck Mountain is more psychedelic than Sharon Van Etten who is more grounded in folk music but their voices together would be the perfect combination.
