When I get to the café and as I’m sitting down at my table I quickly look around to see who is there. If someone is finishing up their coffee I don’t draw them because they have finished their lunch and after coffee they will soon be leaving. That day I noticed this woman. She had just finished her lunch and ordered her coffee. I figured that she’d be good to draw or, at least, get enough down on the paper to finish a drawing if she left. Well, I have never seen anyone drink their coffee as fast as she did. One gulp! Before I could get any more down on paper she was out the door. Turn the page and move on to someone else.
