Hello Everyone. This week this Flickr turned 15 years old and i want to celebrate this special moment with all of us. A lot of fabulous moments happened since the start of this photography page, from the early stages as amateur phtographer until when i reached certain expertise on some kinds of pictures, including a continuous self taught process with different types of cameras.

This moment is really special for several reasons. When i started with this Flickr i didn´t believe that i´ve been here for more than 5 years but the continuous process of improvement motivated me to stay here for express with my vision that my country is a really special place. The last year i´ve reached a lot of new placed across Chile and i was very happy for this milestone and this is clearly a huge inspiration for the upcoming years.

Unfortunately the last week i experienced a terrible situation that consisted in an armed robbery where i lost my camera permanently until further notice. This situation was really terrible in personal and material terms (i aknowledge that i´m still alive) but i firmly belive that this situation will be solved, creating a chance for reach a new level of photography with a new DSLR (and definitve) camera in the next months.

I want to aknowledge to everyone of us for be part of this milestone. I´m really happy for celebrate this 15 years on Flickr.

Hola a Todos. Esta semana este Flickr dedicado a la fotografía de paisajes urbanos y no tanto ha cumplido 15 Años de Vida y quería aprovechar esta tribuna para celebrar este especial momento con cada uno de ustedes. Un montón de fabulosos momentos han ocurrido desde el momento en que decidí echar mano a la creación de esta página, hace un poco más de 15 años (estrictamente partió a finales de 2008 pero las primeras fotos las tomé y publiqué acá en Enero de 2009), momentos que han ido desde las etapas muy tempranas como fotógrafo amateur hasta cuando alcancé cierto conocimiento en ciertos temas fotográficos ya más concisos incluyendo por cierto todo el proceso de auto aprendizaje (100%) y bajo un camino acompañado de variadas cámaras.

Este momento de verdad que es especial para mí por esas y varias razones. Inicialmente nunca creí que este proyecto alcanzara los 5 años de vida, aunque los continuos procesos de autoaprendizaje me motivaron para estar aquí y así expresar con toda mi visión que este rincón del mundo (Chile) es un lugar muy especial. Todos esos logros se acompañaron con cosas muy bonitas que sucedieron el año pasado como cuando expandí como nunca mis viajes dentro del país y la verdad es que haber conseguido eso fue un tremendo logro y motivación para lo que vendrá en los próximos meses y años.

Desafortunadamente el año no partió como debía ya que a inicios de mes fui víctima de un asalto a mano armada demasiado violento y en donde perdí mis equipos con los que creo contenido (mi cámara fotográfica regalona y un smartphone tope de línea). La situación en sí fue muy terrible pero aquí estamos nuevamente poniéndome de pie para que esto solamente sea una anécdota. Por eso mismo y hasta nuevo aviso seguiré subiendo las fotos que conservo en mi colección hasta que pueda comprar un nuevo equipo y esta vez profesional. Sé que esto será temporal aunque el catálogo a subir es igual de sorprendente.

Más allá de ese hecho, la vida debe continuar y una gran motivación para seguir en esto son ustedes, a quienes les debo que esta página donde quiero prismar mi visión de esta larga y angosta franja de tierra llamada Chile, sea un punto de inspiración para muchas personas más.
