Join me in Scotland...
Its hard to reconcile the beauty of this stunning valley with the tragic events that took place in 1692. Clan MacDonald of Glencoe had delayed pledging allegiance to the new monarchs, William III and Mary II, missing the deadline set by the government. Under orders, soldiers from Clan Campbell, who had been staying with the MacDonalds as guests, attacked them in the early hours of a snowy February morning. Many MacDonald men, women, and children were killed, while others fled into the harsh winter, where some perished from exposure. The massacre left a deep scar in Highland memory, symbolizing betrayal and the harshness of political conflicts in Scotland's past.
Moving right along... this place is breathtaking. It speaks in ancient whispers, of rugged grandeur, towering mountains and cascading falls. It is a must if you visit the Scottish Highlands

Scooted over to the coast yesterday afternoon for a late day photo shoot. Caught the last of the light as the Sun slipped into the pacific… It was a Good Day !!
