A few images from the recent week long Scunthorpe Dance Festival that I shot.
All images taken with Olympus EM1 mk2 plus the 40-150 lens @ iso 4000.
Using the lighter M43 kit, as opposed to my Canon kit, definitely was easier on my arms.

Had fun the other day shooting the Dance and Drama Showcase at Beacon Academy, Cleethorpes. This performance counts towards the pupil’s coursework and I’m sure, based on what I saw, that they’ll all do very well; some very talented young people.
This particular shot was from a very emotive dance piece entitled “Paralysed”.
Looking forward to shooting the Music Showcase this week.
It was also an opportunity to try out my new Canon R5😁

Taken at a local dance festival where I had the opportunity to try out my Olympus EM1 mk2 plus the 40-150, in low light. I was shooting at iso 6400, f2.8, for the whole shoot and alternated with my Canon 5D mk3 plus the 70-200, which I used mainly at iso 16000, f2.8, for the faster movements. I have to say though, that the Olympus combo made for a more pleasant shooting experience; it was lighter and quieter, and the results were just fine. I underexposed slightly in order to bump the shutter speed up, and then pulled it back in processing.

Just been doing a shoot for the dress rehearsals for a local Dance Academy's Show. It gave me a chance to try out the Olympus Em1 mk2 alongside my trusty Canon, with some pleasing results.
