Another shot from last week’s visit to Scawby Park, on a misty and frosty morning.
This tree gave the impression that it was reaching out to touch what little warmth there was from the sun.

Everyone no doubt remembers where they were on 9/11 2001, when the horrific events of the day unfolded live on TV.
Nearly a year ago we were fortunate enough to visit NYC and ground zero; a very moving experience.
A time to reflect and remember.

Throwback to a couple of months ago, prior to our current lockdown.
A cold frosty morning, with the sun just peaking through the mist.

Something a little different from me today; I don’t normally go around photographing churches. But having had a reasonable fall of snow I was itching to get out with the camera, but of course during lockdown any photography has to be undertaken as part of daily exercise.
And so I ventured out for a walk from the door with 1 camera and a couple of lenses, but no tripod; complying with the Royal Photographic Society’s recommendation not to use tripods during lockdown exercise here in England!
Having lived in the area for over 30 yrs, I’ve never really taken any shots of this church, which dates back to @ the 12th century, apart from shooting a wedding there a few years ago. And to be honest, I never considered it that photogenic😏
But a little snow, and an interesting sky, changed my mind😀
