Out for an early morning shoot yesterday in Hull, meeting up with a mate of mine, a fellow photographer, and after capturing the initial shots we went for a walk about.

This door sign particularly attracted me being somewhat large, which is why I shot it as I have, to help give it some context.

I paid a second early morning visit to the recently opened ‘Murdoch’s Connection” footbridge, by Hull’s Marina. Although it was again virtually clear skies, this time I had a clearer view of the bridge without boats getting in the way. Also there was hardly any wind, which made for great reflections.

The bridge is named after Dr Mary Murdoch, who was the first female doctor in the city of Hull.
