To mark the Summer Solstice, I thought Iād post this shot taken recently during my trip to Shropshire.
This is from the same view point as my previous image, though shot with a longer lens @260mm.
Iād been watching and waiting as the sun came up, hoping for it to reach the top of the hill so that it sat on its summitš.
And yes that is a golf course in the foreground, set amongst the hills!

A shot of the Devilās Mouth which is part of The Long Mynd section of the Shropshire Hills, looking towards Church Stretton.
Iād been there for sunrise, which didnāt really produce anything of note (I revisited a couple of days later and was rewarded with some great images, see previous posts), but once the sun came up, and the clouds started breaking up, there was some very nice light.
