Our recent trip up to the Lake District after Easter was effectively a wash out. I did get out for some photos, although the lighting was, as in this case, usually uninspiring.

This, a very cliche shot, was a sunrise shoot, minus the sun, at Brandelhow Jetty. The water level was so high that the very end of the jetty was underwater.

Another shot from my recent trip to the Lake District. This was to be a sunrise shoot, the forecast showed potential, but, as you see, this was the most colourful the sky got☹️.

This was actually taken as a 9 shot, long exposure panorama, looking across Bassenthwaite Lake, towards Skiddaw.

With a high wind and a rough sea, this long exposure shot, taken around sunset at Criccieth, North West Wales, captured the glow over the town along with the illuminated castle.

A fairly standard evening shot of The ‘Dancing House’, Prague, towards the end of Blue Hour.

This was my second session at this location, I’d also been there in the morning, but the illumination on the building wasn’t nearly as good.
