We’ve just returned from a five day visit to Prague; my first visit to this extremely photogenic city. I’m still going through the many, many photos I took, but this one was one of the earliest shots, taken on the first morning by the iconic Charles Bridge.

Prague is such a beautiful city but is crammed with tourists, including ironically myself, with Charles Bridge the epicentre of the mass crowds, and was even busy and manic at this early(ish) hour.

But on this particular morning a lone individual in a boat, fishing, just a short distance from the madding crowd, presented a contrasting impression of peace and serenity in the morning light.

A fairly standard evening shot of The ‘Dancing House’, Prague, towards the end of Blue Hour.

This was my second session at this location, I’d also been there in the morning, but the illumination on the building wasn’t nearly as good.

One of the classic views of Prague, the avenue of trees with an old tram running through, which looks even better in the autumn sun😎.

A long lens is essential for this shot to allow you to move out of the way well in advance of the tram getting too near.
