A 2nd generation BMW Series 3 on that same roll of exposed film from the flea market. And the Volkswagen Sharan that tells us it's no earlier than '95. Google Street View shows the same hotel looking mostly like this in 2019, and with some extensions in more recent pictures.

Two weeks ago some guy had a whole camera bag on sale. Might have been a Yashica FR-1, and would have been a good deal for anyone with less cameras on their shelf than me. I just bought the three rolls of film he had and coming home i realized one of the boxes had been opened and contained an exposed roll of Superia 400. Oh well... unlike virtually every other film I found in such conditions, these pictures were actually properly framed, focussed and exposed. One of the frames has a VW Sharan on it so we can't be earlier than '95, the few other cars reinforce the 90's vibe.

Fuchs, du hast die Gans gestohlen
Gib sie wieder her
Sonst wird dich der Jäger holen
mit dem Schießgewehr
Seine große, lange Flinte
Schießt auf dich das Schrot
Dass sich färbt die rote Tinte
und dann bist du tot
Liebes Füchslein, lass dir raten
Sei doch nur kein Dieb
Nimm, du brauchst nicht Gänsebraten,
mit der Maus vorlieb
Ernst Anschütz

DM has been selling double packs of Wolfen NC500 for 17 EUR for a while. The results I've seen online didn't compel me to buy, but the other day, it just seemed like the right ting to do. There are not that many opportunities to try new stocks of film after all. The olive cast of the developed negative - nothing like he usual vermillon-orange - suspiciously reminds of expired film, and the colors you get give the same impression. Orwo say it's a new stock, I'll take their word for it, but I don't think I'll ever buy more of that stuff. The fun of expired film is unpredictability. On the other hand, there are probably more than enough people out there who will love that aesthetic.
Oh, and the fox was there again yesterday, so if your living room still lacks some kind of centerpiece decoration, you know what to do.

Yesterday I met with a colleague for a glass of wine and, les flacons se succedant aux flacons, we washed up at Aniaâs Treff - here the two ladies running that lively place. It's quite something.
