There is an old set of stairs at the north end of Pismo Beach that are slowly decaying. I can imagine beachgoers in the 1930's and 1940's descending those stairs to the beach.

I had a hard time leaving the beach because it was so beautiful. I stopped into this cave on my way back and took one last photo with Venus in the sky to the upper left.
