If that's what you're thinking... I'm right there with you. And I apologize. My last dressing opportunity didn't present time for my usual 17 outfits changes and 1,203 photos. I hope you'll forgive me though... I thought this image was lovely, and captured a bit of my inner joy.

A few of my friends on Flickr and Facebook have either asked directly, or commented indirectly, about my "transition." To be clear, and fair to those amazing women who are traveling that challenging road, I don't feel that my heels have stepped onto that path...?

Where I am today is certainly different than where I was 2 years ago, and even 6 months ago. And where I'm going is not at all clear... which is, at once, both exhilarating and terrifying. But what I *do* know is that each step I take on the road is getting me closer to being who I really am. And it's just so much fun!

Where is the end of my journey? I've no idea. But this is the first time in my life when I've actually savored the voyage without knowing the destination. And isn't that what life is really about sometimes?
