Winter Farmland..
A beautifully sunny day with temperatures nearing -10 Karen and I were driving through south Caledon along Highway 10, shot this photo of a working farm just north of Mayfield. the snow glistened sand sparkled in the sun.

Forest walk...
In October 2020 we hiked into the the park and spent the morning and a better part of the afternoon wandering through the woods taking photos. this part of the trail is known as birch alley and in the past has been an area dominated by birch trees. So many birch have fallen to infestation of the Japanese birch borer these were a few of the ones that survived so far.

Through The Screen Door..
As a photographer, I try to challenge myself to be as creative as possible. I try to see things from a different angle or through the lens of an unusual point of view. I find them much more interesting and engaging.
This shot is taken through my screen door of our Oak tree; which even in the middle of winter, still has all its leaves on and they are dried and burnt orange.
I captured this image looking up at the sky through the branches. the sky had an otherworldly glow about it and the screen mesh added an odd but pleasing texture to the whole image. what do you think let me know in the comments.

Stacked Clouds...
The view out the upstairs window on this particular evening had those puffy, stacked clouds that seemed to go right up into the heavens and sit one on top of the other.
The evening was fast approaching and sunset was barely an hour away. I thought it would be a good day to go out and get some evening sunset shots. especially with those lovely clouds everywhere,.

Sundown...
As the evening sun slowly fell just beyond the distant horizon, the encroaching darkness swept like an army of shadows, crawling ever closer towards us as the last fragments of daylight dimmed and faded. Soon just the faint glow of the streetlights was all that illuminated the ground.
