The Storm Approaches...
Up and out by 5.00 am just ahead of the sunrise, greeted by a cloudy, stormy morning; heavy, large raindrops fell like blobs from the sky. each one exploded like large water balloons on the pavement and grass at my feet...
The turbulent sky roiled and boiled in front of my lens; as i braved the wind and the rain to snap this photo. then came the deluge and a sudden mad dash for home.

Classic Duo....
There is nothing like a classic 1959 Cadillac Eldorado convertible
That has been lovingly restored and brought back to its original condition...
The 2019 Annual Drive for the cure Canada (to raise Prostate Cancer awareness) held its annual car show at the Brampton Powerade Centre. there was a bevy of beautiful classic cars; so many wonderful automotive designs from years gone by and all in one place. there were well over four hundred cars on display. .

Falling Water......
Yesterday was our first trip to Hilton Falls in over a year. we clambered our way through the unmarked trails, along the mostly rock and tree covered section towards the fire pit.
For the past three or four years the water level over the falls has been a mere trickle, this year however it is a torrent, as the heavy rains and local flooding have added a lot of runoff to local rivers and streams.

River Road...
A heavy snow fell a few weeks ago covering everything with a thick layer of fresh fluffy white snow. We got up early and headed to the park where we found ourselves in a scene from the movie Narnia; snow was falling from the branches above every time the wind blew. at times it was as if it was still snowing... with so much snow falling from the heavy laden branches overhead.
The road through the park has flooded and become a small river over the long winter and with the frigid temperatures has frozen over and is now covered in thick ice.
