While visiting the Naval Health Research Center, Director, Defense Health Agency, LTG Ronald J. Place listens intently to Army Research Psychologist, Maj. Keyia N. Carlton who talks about some of critical work being done by the Birth and Infant Health Research study (BIHR). The Director commented that he just signed a policy that would allow females to deploy while pregnant up to 20 weeks and was encouraged by their findings.
