47553 gets away from Todmorden with the Royal Train on 14th February 1989. It had just dropped off Prince Charles at Todmorden station at the start of a visit to the Calder Valley. Note the ex-LNWR coach in the consist.

47798 "Prince William" leads the Royal Train over the cross-overs at Milford Junction while (presumably) heading back to its base at Wolverton, having dropped a member of the Royal Family somewhere further north - possibly York. 13/10/95. I can't remember whether I knew about this working in advance or just happened on it accidentally. Whichever, it was always nice to get shots of the Royal Train, especially when it was hauled by the dedicated Class 47s.

47799 "Prince Henry" leads the Royal Train away from Hellifield, where it had stabled overnight. It was taking the Queen to Bradford to distribute Maundy Money on the 27th March 1997. Taken in very dull weather which wouldn't have been my preference, but when it comes to the Royal Train "beggars can't be choosers".

47799 "Prince Henry" is at the rear of the Royal Train ECS, near Dockfield Junction, Shipley. 27th March 1997. The train had just decanted the Queen and her consort in Bradford and was now on its way back to Wolverton. The day's earlier crap weather is visible in the background.
