81009 stands at the buffers at Manchester Piccadilly on the 25th July 1984. It's in company with 87006 "City Of Glasgow", which was one of three or four Class 87s which were painted into experimental liveries for a short time.

81020 is captured at Holme near Milnthorpe with 1S59 07:25 Taunton to Glasgow. 26th May 1986. Pity that my photographic technique of the time involved cutting most of the train off! The loco seemed to be all-important. Still, it's one of the few shots I have of a moving Class 81 so I feel it's worth sharing.
