Almscliffe Crag from Otley Chevin. 18/4/2023. Almscliffe Crag is about five miles from where I was standing but a big lens has pulled it in. Hopefully you'd agree with me that the wide valley of the Wharfe around here is absolutely beautiful.

I was intrigued by this ex-RNLI, M3 Talus MB-H semi-submersible tractor, which has been on Caldey Island since 2019 and is used to take trippers to and from their boats at low tide. 24/6/2023. It was formerly used by the RNLI to recover lifeboats from the sea in places where there was no slipway.
