142023 prepares to leave St. Ives with 2C70 14:10 to St Erth. 31/3/86. This is one of Michael's few photos of a Cornish Skipper on home territory. Apparently, he'd had a cab ride up from Penzance and was returning on the same unit - again in the cab. I don't know how he managed to wangle that!

A pair of Class 141s pass Mirfield Shed forming 2J09 13:51 Leeds to Huddersfield. 22/11/86. "Big up" to Michael for photting so many of these units; he got far more shots than I did. Not only that, but he somehow had access to the information on what services they were working, which I never did.
